Hi. I’m Steve and I’m the owner of this rather lovely place in Orlando.

I bought this villa in the early naughties after a lot, a loh-hot, of hunting for the perfect place. Actually that’s not quite true. What I bought was a plot and a pile of sand and a promise by Lennar, the developers, to put a really lovely villa there. Lennar made good on their promise and in September 2003 I signed my name against the most debt I had ever had in my life. Feeling good I went for a beer and some chicken wings at TGI Fridays with Terry my real estate agent, and promptly threw up when the enormity of what I had done hit me.

The years since then have been one heck of a learning curve. Figuring things out, online forums, conferences, colleagues, and competitors. By now I like to hope I know what I’m doing, which means I like to hope that I can look after you when it comes to your place to stay in Orlando. It hasn’t been easy. It’s involved smiles, tears, and more than one heated discussion. It’s had highs like seeing the new pool come together after a year of planning. It’s had lows like feeling physically sick when I thought I’d double booked a celeb who was due to stay for three months over winter.

Twenty plus years later and I still love spending time here. I still love the view across the golf course. I love the location. I love the occasional scent of pine drifting from the trees. I’m sure you will too.

Buy a villa they said. Get some winter sunshine they said. Sit back, let us do all the work and just bank the payment we send you at the end of every month … they said.
